How come? He can still be stronger than he was and below base Vegeta. Because Future trunks had to go SSJ to kill the future androids when he returned to his timeline. Piccolo was around android 17 before he went in the HTC putting him above Base trunks who was close to his dad in power. After the HTC Piccolo wondered if he could be beat initial Perfect Cell making him stronger than Semi Cell. So he somewhere around there.

He may be able to defeat Initial Perfect Cell (real ki) based on that, but it's doubtful he'd beat the others.

In both the Japanese and Viz Manga he states to Goku that he doesn't have a chance. Only the anime translations (and maybe other language manga) have him asking.

I'd say taking the wording of it that an official source makes clear is better to do than to count on one which is completely dependant on the translation and can change between them. The manga's correct statement was quite vague.

Chrome, Safari, IE Favourite Manga Rave Master, FLCL, .hack//legendofthetwilight, Naruto II	I'm gonna say Piccolo's got the gauntlet, save a potential draw with Perfect Cell. I also don't see Ascended Super Saiyan/Super Vegeta trumping Piccolo. I feel like Piccolo as a whole is severely underrated and people forget that he does have the most unique powers, versatile attacks, regeneration, and kind of a game breaker move as long as someone doesn't karate chop it. (I know, I know, Special Beam Cannon is off the table for Versus matches, but C'mon. It's the character's Signature Move! It's plot and character relevant!) Edit: That and he's radically smarter and wiser after he fuses with Kami than just about everyone else on the team. That's not saying much, but compared to the Smarter members of The Z Team this is impressive. And I really feel like everyone will take literally anything that Vegeta says as "Word of God" if he says he's stronger than someone. For example, during the Frieza Arc, Vegeta really bragged about how he was the Legenedary Super Saiyan when he went up against Frieza in his final form. We all know how well that went. Same thing with Android 18, I remember that being a rather casual curb stomp. And after Cell's transformation, i remember Vegeta continually boasting, until Cell firmly planted his foot between his lungs and colon. Yeah, Vegeta's claims are irreverent at best, and his track record isn't exactly anything to brag about after he joins the Z Fighters. Call me crazy, but I think feats are a bit more credible than claims. Just a thought... Edited by TheACE, Apr 1 2013, 08:23 PM.
